Frances has been overseeing the charity’s accounts since 2007, when she was at Ward Williams before setting up Warner Wilde. Whilst our accounts do not involve large sums of money, it can be complicated in that it incorporates the records of 35 separate volunteer groups who undertake the charity’s activities in their local area.

But the relationship with Frances is not simply about what she accomplishes at the end of year consolidation and audit process but what she brings to the charity in terms of support and advice that takes into account of the very nature of working with volunteers. Her advice is non judgemental, free of jargon and realistic about what is essential and what is possible to achieve in the circumstances. She is the third "member" of our accounts team with whom we consult and confer throughout the year and not just at audit time.
